The Finance Department has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for providing fiscal oversight to various projects, programs and grants. This will include maintaining accurate accounting records per standard policy, procedure and protocol and working with various stakeholders by providing information and reports. If you enjoy accounting work, collaborating with others and having the opportunity to recommend improvement ideas then this is the job for you.
The successful candidate will have at a minimum:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Applicable experience may substitute or education
• Three (3) years’ experience in Accounting
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and working with various accounting software.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications to include, Excel, Outlook and Word.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Five (5) years’ experience in Accounting
• Exposure to grant or governmental accounting
