Due to the current status of COVID-19 in Texas and to ensure the safety of all TARC members, the September 2021 TARC Bi-Annual Staff Training and Annual Board of Directors Meeting will be held virtually for the staff training and in-person for the TARC Executive Directors Council & Board of Directors or a hybrid format. While we wish we were able to see each of you in person in next month, with cases spiking and the future trajectory unknown, the TARC team will deliver the stellar content you have come to expect at each TARCmeeting in this hybrid format.

As you will see on the draft schedule, the meeting kicks off on Tuesday, September 7 at 9:00 am with the TARC staff association trainings & meetings. These meetings will take place over 2 days to allow for more in-depth training and collaboration among your peers. Committees will take place virtually on Thursday morning and we will gather in-person for the Executive Directors’ Council and Board of Directors meetings Thursday afternoon and Friday morning at the Texas Association of Regional Councils office building at 1210 San Antonio, 4th floor conference center, Austin, TX 78701. Agendas for each of these meetings are in development and will be shared with each of you soon. If you have suggestions for speakers or topics you would like us to include in any of these meetings, please let us know.
