This webinar will discuss the new Preparedness Rule promulgated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and how the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) will work to help healthcare facilities across Texas meet the set requirements. This new rule provides a great opportunity for emergency management across the state to better engage local healthcare facilities within their jurisdictions in preparedness planning and for the COGs to engage healthcare facilities in their planning and inclusion in planning documents.
