The Texas Recycles Computers and Texas Recycles TVs programs were established by the Texas Legislature to provide recycling opportunities to the residents of Texas. Under the programs, manufacturers offering to sell new computer or television equipment in or into Texas are required to provide a program for collecting and recycling home business and personal computer or television equipment at no cost to the consumer at the time of recycling.
