How much does it cost to attend the conference?
The registration fee for the 2018 Aging in Texas Conference is $275.
What are the dates for the conference?
The conference will be held July 11 – 13, 2018.
Who is putting on the conference?
The annual Aging in Texas Conference is hosted by the Texas Association of Area Agencies on Aging in collaboration with the Texas Association of Regional Councils and Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Are there any discounts on registration?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer registration discounts. However, if the cost is prohibitive, please email firstname.lastname@example.org ,scholarships may be available.

What type of payment is accepted for the conference?
Credit cards, checks, and purchase orders (POs) are acceptable form of payment. We do ask that if you are paying with a PO you ensure your accounting department processes paperwork in accordance with Texas Comptroller’s requirements.
Where will the conference be held this year?
The 2018 Aging in Texas Conference will be held at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel located at 900 N. Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78401. To make your reservations click HERE or call 1-800-843-6664. When calling please request the 2018 Aging in Texas Conference rate. The deadline to make reservations is Monday, June 25, 2018.
What are the parking arrangements at the Omni Corpus Christi?
$12 Self-Parking or $22 Valet Parking
I will be flying in for the conference. Does the Omni Corpus Christi offer a shuttle service?
Yes! To secure a ride to the hotel from the airport contact the hotel at 361-887-1600 when you land in Corpus Christi.
Are speakers compensated financially for their participation in the conference?
In an effort to compensate speakers, the conference planning committee offers one day of free attendance. Also, speakers will receive a gift for their participation.
My organization is interested in becoming an exhibitor, what are the costs?
Conference exhibitor rates are listed HERE. Please keep in mind this does not include the cost of electricity for your exhibit booth. Cost of registration is not included in the exhibitor purchase.

Are meals included with my registration?
Yes, two meals are included with your conference registration. Please refer to the conference schedule for those dates and times.
What is the registration cancellation policy?
The following information outlines the penalties for registration cancellation. Please note, all conference attendee registrations are transferable.
Cancellation by May 31, 2018: 100% of fees refunded
Cancellation by June 15, 2018: 50% of fees refunded
Cancellation AFTER June 15, 2018: No refunds
