The North Central Texas Council of Governments, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Dallas-Fort Worth region is looking for an experienced web developer. This position will have responsibility for creating and maintaining Agency websites and associated customer web applications. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: supporting existing web sites, developing new web sites/applications, maintaining third party support applications such as web statistics, applying consistent NCTCOG branding (look and feel) to all projects, managing infrastructure configuration, creating, tracking, and maintaining domain registration for the Agency, and project management for all program activities related to the creation and maintenance of a web site for NCTCOG or one of the member agencies. Type of work will include developing web sites for maximum usability and functionality and creating and maintaining databases as needed for web content and functionality. In addition, the developer will assist in maintaining cloud and on-premise servers and supporting Agency staff.
Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years related work experience.
