CAPCOG is seeking a full-time Grants Specialist to support the agency’s Community and Economic Development division, including (but not limited to) community development, economic revitalization, disaster recovery, rural transportation, and resiliency. Work involves grant administration and management that includes, program eligibility determination, documentation of beneficiaries, compilation of quarterly and annual reporting requirements for state and federally funded grant awards. The ideal candidate will have successful grant management experience, possess strong written and oral communication skills and experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public administration, business administration, or a related field is generally preferred.
Experience: Three or more years of experience administering and managing grant programs in community planning or economic development capacity.
