GIS Technician needed to assist with GIS work which includes updating and maintaining various layers as part of the ongoing development monitoring program. Expected duties include but are not limited to data collection, analysis, maintenance of data for multiple projects, records, and reports. Other duties include the use of various GIS tools and functions including editing, geocoding as well as maintaining databases used within the agency. Position pays $19.00 per hour.
Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with a 2-year associates degree, diploma or equivalent from a college: technical, business, vocational or correspondence school and less than 1-year experience. GlS experience preferred.
