Quality Assurance/Compliance –> Compliance Review

North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking a versatile Compliance Administrator to support Agency Compliance functions. Applicants with a strong interest in research, regulatory compliance, and process development are encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities:

  • Performing complex professional administrative work
  • Researching and analyzing governing laws and regulations
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating policies, procedures, and manuals
  • Reviewing funding agency requirements and grant submissions
  • Preparing for compliance reviews and audits
  • Developing and implementing processes for compliance management
  • Managing deadlines and organizing documentation for annual Agency and regulatory requirements, such as Regional Planning Committee reporting and registration renewals with federal and state government contract systems
  • Developing reports and tracking tools regarding compliance requirements and other actions
  • Overseeing the Agency’s insurance requirements and policies for property, casualty, liability, workers’ compensation, vehicle, cybersecurity, and others
  • Managing relationships with third party service providers including brokers, underwriters, and other third-party administrators
  • Responding to property and liability claims under the direction of the Compliance Manager, Director of Administration & General Counsel
  • Organizing, filing, and retaining records
  • Assisting with managing projects and working groups by developing timelines, scheduling meetings, preparing Agendas, and creating presentations and reports using SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and similar programs
  • Serving as contact for ethics and compliance hotline reporting system
  • Working closely with internal and external partners, other departments, and team members on coordination of activities to accomplish tasks

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university or Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience.

FLSA: Exempt

Salary: $52,500.00 – $63,000.00 or higher depending on qualifications.

• The position is required to be performed in-person at the Agency location. The Agency currently offers occasional remote work, subject to change according to business necessity.
