This is a responsible supervisory position that requires working with a variety of providers of services to the elderly and local public and private organizations.

Duties include: Familiarity with various rules and regulations regarding Aging programs and services; Ensures compliance of Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Administration for Community Living (ACL), Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and Older Americans Act (OAA) relevant to the care coordination and caregiver services, including service authorization and care management; Analyze, develop, maintain, and track budget (planning, working, closeout and staff allocation of time), financials and related expenses; Coordinate standing budget meeting with AAA management & accounting representative; Conduct program performance reviews of care coordination staff; Develop, implement, and coordinate Caregiver and Grandparent projects in the 13 county area; Work with programs and fiscal reports and utilize excel spreadsheets as tool to track staffing, expenses, and program budget. A bachelor’s degree in social work, business, public administration, or a related field , plus at least two years of supervisory experience in the field of aging, nursing, social work, other human services, or a related field; Licensed as a registered nurse or certified as a social worker preferred; Two years of full-time aging, social work, or registered nursing experience may be substituted for one year of the required education, with the maximum substitution of four years of experience for two years of education OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. AACOG business hours 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. M-F.  This is an exempt position. Pay Grade 13. Only electronic online applications will be accepted.
