Assist the Transportation Operations Manager with the supervision and development of administrative operations and regional coordination; Responsible for all personnel and equipment in assigned area of operations; Adherence to and monitor compliance standards of safety, customer relations, and vehicle maintenance; Compliance with regulatory requirements and locally established operational policies and procedures; Overall effectiveness and efficiency of assigned assets; Associated documentation and reporting; Supervises employees by instructing, assigning and reviewing work, completing performance reviews, making recommendations for personnel actions; Tracks time cards and reporting documentation to ensure they are completed and accurate. Evaluate program performance for assigned area; Accident/incident and customer complaint investigations and reports; Fares collection/control, verification, deposits, and reporting; Recommend and/or assist in development of policies and procedures, coordinate vehicle maintenance service and ensure administrative compliance with ART Maintenance Plan; Responsible for administrative staff and control center staff accountability, attendance, performance, appearance, customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures; Work with transit staff in the coordination of regional planning; Perform other job related duties as assigned. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Public Administration, or a closely related field, or 60 college hours with coursework relating to the same fields; Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in a similar field with three (3) years of supervisory experience in transportation or logistics area preferred;or any combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the functions of this position.
