The Community Services Department, Area Agency on Aging, of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant. The purpose of this position is to monitor multi-line telephone lines by taking incoming calls; routing calls to correct individuals, distributing messages; obtaining information and processing incoming calls. In addition, the position includes heavy data entry to record caller information and service request. Position will perform other administrative assistance duties as assigned.
Must be proficient in operating Windows-based computer programs such as Word, Excel and Access. Applicants must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, and must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks. Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Six months advanced study past a high school diploma and 1-3 years work related experience.
