9-1-1 Finance Manager

The 9-1-1 Finance Manager  performs highly complex, senior-level accounting and budgeting work that supports emergency communication operations throughout the 10-county region. Their duties involve preparing and overseeing financial analyses and reports, coordinating budget preparation, and monitoring internal controls for the division’s accounting functions.  The 9-1-1 Finance Manager also manages contracts, tracks revenues, expenditures and all financial transactions.

Education:  A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Consideration of experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience with a focus on government finance and accounting operations.

Other: A valid Texas Driver’s License and or other state driving license is required. Successful completion of a background investigation and maintaining favorable CJIS clearance is required.

Preferred qualifications
Experience in Abila MIP is preferred.
Experience with emergency communications 9-1-1 preferred.

Salary Range: $66,000 – $78,000 depending on qualifications
