SUMMARY:TARC e-Learning: From UCR to NIBRS – Working with Regional Councils to Spread the Word
DESCRIPTION:With the passage of HB11 by the Texas Legislature last year\, the Department of Public Safety has been tasked with the goal of moving all Uniform Crime Reporting Summary reporting agencies to Incident-Based reporting (NIBRS) by September 1 2019. The Department is looking to team with the state’s Council of Governments to help with the outreach to law enforcement agencies. It is the Department’s goal to actively inform and educate all LEAs in what NIBRS is\, and we are looking for input on the best and most efficient way to do that. Your contribution to this process is vital as stakeholders in the state’s Uniform Crime Reporting program. \nFor more information on this webinar\, contact Kimberly Lile.
