H-GAC Public Services Department has an exciting opportunity for a Program Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the H-GAC team, including consultants and retail electric providers, by providing sales, services and support to local government members of the H-GAC Energy Aggregation. You will also contribute to the H-GAC Energy marketing and development plan, and coordinate workshops, seminars, webinars as needed. The incumbent will also prepare reports and materials for the Energy Corporation board meetings. You must have a demonstrated understanding of the rules and regulations of the energy market especially as they apply to the Texas market. You should be a subject matter expert capable of researching, developing materials, presenting information, and recommending new ways to deliver value to members. You will also monitor contracts and agreements that are assigned as needed. Are you ready to take on this new exciting role?
The successful candidate will have at a minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
Applicable experience may substitute for education.
Three (3) years of client service experience.
Knowledge of contract administration and basic accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced skill in MS Excel specifically Macros) and SharePoint
Preferred qualifications include:
Five (5) years of experience with accounts receivable, government purchasing statues and requirements.
