Performs highly-advanced administrative support or technical program assistance work for Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley Board staff. Work involves coordinating the dissemination of information, developing filing systems and coordinating internal administrative support work. Work includes coordinating Board membership; taking Board minutes; posting Board notices on Texas Register; prepares Board packets; handles conflict of interest, mileage reimbursements, required training for board members; manage open records requests for Workforce; manages leases for Workforce Center offices; conducts small purchase procurements for equipment, repairs and food; as well as coordinates meetings, conferences, seminars which includes room set up, coordinating food and clean up. Experience in administrative support work. Graduation from an associate’s degree program or two years of experience may be substituted for 1 year of post-secondary education. Must have knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures, Microsoft office skills including excel and skill in use of standard office equipment. Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies, procedures and to communicate effectively.
